Looking at the window sticker that particular truck was built on February 5, 2021. So it was probably one of the last Anvil’s to be built from that particular BTS release (Billet Silver and Anvil)
No, you didn’t do anything wrong. It’s just the nature of the Built To Serve Package.
The Built to Serves are a limited edition. When all said and done, Ram will have offered five releases for each branch of the armed forces. The number of units produced per color, per release varies, but it’s...
Here’s the Anvil that’s still available in California.

The ceramic gray BTS trucks are no longer available. They were released last year, and can’t be purchased any longer (unless used).
You might be able to still find an Anvil unit. I think there’s a dealer or two in California that may still have one. And the only reason a dealer would still have...
Wanted to get peoples opinions on two possible wheel/tire setups that I’m considering.
Truck is a Built to Serve in Ceramic Gray and currently has the stock 20” technical gray wheels with 275/55R20 Falken all-terrains.
Option one is to keep the current wheels, but go up to a 285/60R20 tire...
And yes, if you get a 4x4, it’ll come with the Off-Road Group which includes an increased ride height of 1-inch. And a 285/60R20 will fit. You’d maybe have to level the front end.
I got my Ceramic Gray BTS last summer and love it. I’ve only seen one other one on the road, so it’s awesome having...
Yes, the Built to Serves are a limited edition. Ram did five releases for each branch of the armed forces. Ram offered two colors per release, one regular color from their line-up and one low volume color. The number of units produced per color, per release varies, but it’s been about 1,000...
Does anybody have a whistling/air buffeting sound (trying my best to describe it haha) that comes from one of the components under the passenger side dash? No matter what speed setting I have the blower on, I get a lot of excess air noise. When I turn the blower completely off I get a whistling...
@Howie Dub I live in California, and purchased my 1500 in Colorado last summer. I didn’t have it shipped, so can’t help you there, but I can try to help with the steps of registering an out of state new vehicle in California.
First, theses trucks are 50-state compliant as far as emissions go...
I would not hang your hat on UConnect5 coming out in the 22’s. There has been zero confirmation of that happening. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not until MY23.
You might want to check in with Aaron at Mark Dodge. Check out the MSRP Thread. Many members have been ordering from him and are getting fantastic deals...especially on upper trims like the Limiteds.
Typically the new model year doesn’t start production until the August time frame, which...
Not sure about when it will happen, but when the Heavy Duty’s are transitioned to a new body, I would imagine that it’d be the same cab/body as the current 1500’s (possibly with some minor differences in the fenders/grille/hood/etc to distinguish between the 1500s and Heavy Duty’s as Ram has...
I’m not sure. In everything I’ve read about TRX pricing, the majority of dealers are charging outrageous ADMs, so you’re lucky if you can find one charging only MSRP.
Typically new model year production starts in the August timeframe, with orders starting in July. Not sure how this year will line up with all of the current production shortages and setbacks.
