Boogielander how far North are you going for? My friend's Dad bought a new 1976 F100, threw a camper shell on it, took the wife and his 2 kids and drove to the arctic circle in the stock ford with the 360. Took 4 spare tires, had 3 in the camper shell along with one or both kids riding back...
I think I saw today the 360 in the RT was 250. In a light Dakota I imagine it would push it pretty good. But my 318 in my 78 d100 was only rated for 130. I put a small cam, 4bbl, and duals on it but I doubt it got over 200 or so with the stock bottom end and heads. My Dad's 92 was a whole lot...
Very nice trip, I envy you. The glaciers are magnificent. When you stand on one the ice can be a pure blue color and you are looking at water thats been frozen a long, long time.
Had to have the 6' 4", no brainer, especially with a toolbox. And they look good with a quad cab. I'd like more room in the back seat but I need the room in the bed.
Thats the one, someone else had put one on, maybe yourself. The ends caps are pretty cool looking but once you get them on its about impossible to put the hose barb in them. I put them on at the can only. I used the hose that came with it. I did have to move the filter media to the intake...
I have the Kenda's on my Jeep and really like the 35 x 10.5 size. they are quiet on the Jeep. Running Atturos on the Ram and they are noisier but handled well through tropical storm Debbie's standing water this morning, not a slip or a slide
My grip strength is slowly going away. I still like to turn wrenches but it takes more effort now to torque control arms and such, part of getting old I reckon. I prefer not to overtighten the filter but I also find it difficult to see when I'm 3/4 a turn in when I use the wrench so I'm...
Thanks, I was trying to use the wrong bag and made a worse mess, plus doused my shirt with oil lol. Been changing oil 48 years and ain't got the hang of this one yet. Just did my 4th change at 20K
I never have had a fumoto, have more trouble getting to the oil filter. coming in from the bottom front, just hard to get a wrench on it. I bagged the filter twice. as I turn the filter the bag gets caught on something and doesn't spin with the filter. using supermarket bag. should I use...
Changed oil and filter. My new filter wrench didn't work out very good. I need to go in another direction. Worst vehicle I ever had for making a mess while changing oil. rotated tires, mounted an amp, and installed catch can.
