This happened to me once @ a stop light about a month into owning my truck. Freaked me out. It's easy to forget about the buttons on the steering wheel.
Loving the air ride on my baby. I was a little worried since I knew she'd wouldn't be garaged, but didn't have a single issue with it through our Ontario winters
It's only 53F outside today so I'll have to wait till things warm up to redo the measurements. I did measure a 6 degree difference between the driver & passenger vents along with a 3 ft/s difference in airflow. Last summer I didn't do a lot of driving so I thought it was just my impression but...
At first I thought the 22"s on my Limited would be way too big, but I have to admit I've grown to like the look a lot. Once I get my OC IIIs on them, they should be perfect.
I've read about them. They are these places where ancient civilizations used to go before the big lockdown to buy things. I hear that some of them were quite opulent. Archeologists are discovering them in pretty much every major city across the globe. 😝🤣
I took a lot of short trips (and I do mean A LOT) when I first picked up my baby. Any time wife needed pretty much anything, I was more than happy to run to the store.
Problem solved. 😁😁😁
I have to ask. Is this verbal agreement thing an American thing? I have never left a dealership without a paper contract.
I'm the type to research my vehicle purchases to death, so most times I'll know as much if not more about the vehicle than the guy I'm buying it off of. Maybe this is why...
Whoever at SXM set the plan prices especially for the Canadian market must have been doing some serious drugs. They want $33.98/month + taxes ($379 USD for a year) for the convenience & security combo, and only offer it as month to month. If they come to their senses and by that I mean around...
Hey Jackob2545,
My comment really was about how different the experience dealing with FCA USA seems to be vs FCA Canada. The problem that I was having wasn't tranny related, but at the end of the day the dealership did step up and make things right.
I have the MX4 and am very happy with it. I've taken it through an automatic car wash at least twice, and it's parked on my driveway since the day I got it, so it's seen a few rainstorms. Any water penetration is minimal. It is better than what I expected.
Comparing the two on paper won't really show you the true differences. The Limited is all about refinement and luxury where as the Rebel is more about offroading. Yes you can get leather in the Rebel but it isn't the same, and the ride will be rougher. The only way to truly appreciate and...
Until he gets back to us, who knows. :-)
When I read the original post, I took it to be the GVWR of the trailer. If you look at the image he did post, the trailer GVWR is 10k.
That was my point. The OP didn't provide much information and everyone jumped in speculating that it would be more than adequate to handle such a "light" pin weight. I was simply pointing out that there are trim levels that would barely be able to handle the pin weight and nothing else. For what...
I did a quick search and found RAM's Towing chart. Depending on the exact model/config the OP bought their payload could be as low as 1500lbs, with surprised the f out of me.
Add 125 - 150lbs for the hitch and a couple of passengers and you're well over that payload before you put anything in...
I have been a fan of Yokohama's since the 80s and used to run them on my sports cars. Yokohama's tend to use a very soft compound. The grip is amazing, but they do wear very quickly. I had their Super Diggers on my old CJ, barely lasted a year. Expensive lesson learned
Another vote for "Go with the Limited!!!" I started off debating Sport vs Rebel, and then Rebel vs Laramie. Personally, I'll never do any serious off-roading with a truck this expensive so once I configured the Laramie the way I wanted, I was basically in Limited territory and there are little...
I got the same Rims installed by my local tire shop a week ago and haven't noticed any issues with them. I'm guessing my tire shop knew about the clearance issue. Looks like I'm crawling underneath to take a look.
And yes they look AWESOME with the OEM center caps.
Thanks Mark. At the moment I consider myself fortunate to have found a dealership that seems to go the extra mile. Hopefully I won't need to deal with head office.
