I just did this today on my truck, only time will tell if it works for me.
Mine only screwed up maybe once every three or four months.
Thanks to theRamguy.

I honestly want to try a ED. I see the dealer I bought my limited from has a ED limited coming in that has the same options as mine except the engine.
I am so tempted to see what they would trade for.

I hear you, this is my first Ram Limited in 10 yrs. Yesterday I rode in my friends new High Country Silverado and the interior is NO comparison.
I feel GM has a much more stable control architecture than Ram but oh well, just disconnect my battery every once and a while and im usually good to...
Good point, this is my first eTorque.
Since my truck turns 1 year old this month and I already have 50K miles on it.
I wonder if it is possible to convert eTorque to Non eTorque??

I would be shocked if its piston slap. 5.7 Hemi's come from the factory with hyperutetic pistons, piston to wall clearance is .0015-.0002. Not really like the old days with forged pistons slapping until warm up.

Ya... I retired 5 years ago and hated it. I started my own business of servicing robotics and injection molding machines.
I always average 55-60K a year!

If I change my oil every 6 months I would have 30,000 miles between oil changes. I don't understand your no matter how many miles driven statement.
