Lol.I hear ya. I really wanted to support the American auto makers but I was fed up with gmc. So I by passed a tundra I really like a decided to give a ram a go.
And at the moment with 45K miles my truck is doing good. But that’s in this exu moment in time.
I had to have the tranny replaced...
Good luck. I hope your truck stays dry inside. It wasn’t long after I got the cargo light to stop leaking that out of nowhere with out cause my back glass started to leak. Had less than 30k miles on the truck and already had 2 major leaks.
All fixed now. I have now faith In the factory back...
That’s a fact lol. I replaced my third brake lights one time and it started to leak bad. Now that it’s fixed I’ll never pull it out again. I now change my cargo light bulbs by popping the the head liner loose in the back seat and going I. That way.
It’s really not all that hard after you have...
Correct. The RF hub is really close the the third brake light and for what ever reason red led bulbs interfere with the signal from your key fob.
I have super bright white 921 cargo lights and never had an issue or a code.
The lasfit 921 red led never interfered with my key fob. But I took it...
I’m dealing with lifer failure on 2020 ram. I always kept MDS off as well. And now I’m learning that when MDS is off, certain parts of the engine do not get lubed properly. There is several youtube videos on it. I’m not a master mechanic but there is no excuse for a three year old truck that’s...
Sounds like the dealership I bought off of here In Utah. Might not be a bad idea to call moe at mods performance and order up a new cam/ lifter package.
Should live monitor misfires. And o say that because my truck acted similarly when I was having misfires (no codes or check engine light)
And when the mis fires stopped. It didn’t do that anymore.
I went ahead and contacted Shaun. We’ll see what he says tomorrow. I tried new plugs and still have misfires on cylinder 6. And I’ve noticed today it only does it at idle. Either complete stop or nearly about to stop. 1mph or less.
I put two new plugs in 6. Same thing happened when I start...
The reason behind it is a seen a post on the diablosports forum where people were bragging how much better their trucks run on 93 with a 91 tune and saying some guys were getting better performance that way than with a 93 tune.
I’m in Utah, they don’t sell 93 here. So I tried the octane...
I wasn’t aware octane boost was a bad idea. But I’ll stay away from it from now on. I’ve only used it twice. And I appreciate everyone’s input.
Let me ask you guys this, I’m at a little over half a tank of fuel. Is it best to run it as low as possible before refueling? I assume diluting if...
Was about 3 weeks after installing the tune. And truck had ran fine. Not sure if the Lucia octane boost was just a coincidence.
I’ll contact the tuner if it’s not the plugs or coil.
I just finished putting new plugs in cylinder 6 and I’m gonna move the coil as suggested above first.
I have a 2020 ram 1500 5.7 with 45K MILEs I’m noticing on my scanner mode 6 that I’m getting about. 10 misfires a day on cylinder 6 and 0 on all the rest. NO check engine light annd no codes(except line mismatch and I know that’s because I adjusted my speedometer)and truck starts and idles like...
I just removed my pulsar and plan on returning it. I enjoyed it when it was working but every other day my truck would randomly shut off and wouldn’t start again until I removed and reconnected the ground off the battery.
I’m gonna try my luck with the Trinity 2 platinum and modified pcm.
Do you have tazer and pulsar installed currently? Just wondering why you are so positive that it’s a programmed one touch key on the tazer. I’m not saying you’re wrong. I could have very well set that up and don’t remember
