So fell down some deep rabit holes trying to figure this out. Yes they all have 6'4" beds in length, but the full shape and stuff is not all exact.
A 1500 Classic or 4th gen, shares the bed with a 2500( i forget the yr breakdowns but beyond the 5th gen 1500), but the 19' 1500 5th gen has a new...
Hello all. I have a 2019 Ram 1500 5th gen with the 6.4 bed. My buddy is the rep for a large truck accessorie company and has access to their extra's that cant be sold for whatever reason.
They have a real nice retractable bed cover I can get for super cheap, but it is for the 4th gen or...
I run shell Rotella diesel oil in my motorcycle that isn't a diesel. It's pretty common, and smooths out the transmission quite a bit.
Don't know of anybody doing it in a truck but wouldn't shock me.
I have a generic bed rackni bought off Amazon.
The rack had to be drilled into the side rails of the bed, so it cant be adjusted like racks that goninto a track system, but i have been pretty happy with it.
The rack cost $300 on Amazon. I received it within a week. 2 weeks later, ups alerted...
This project took a bit over a month as it was the first thing I had ever welded. So I did lots of rewelds and grinding, plus trying to figure out what I was doing.
Took awhile, but was a fun learning project. I could have built it much faster and easier with wood, but wood is thicker and heavier.
My buddy used to be the Eastern sales rep for Decked. I loved the idea, but they didn't make them for Tacomas at the time, and felt there was alot of wasted space in the design.
I bought a welder and taught myself to weld on youtube.
I built drawers that were long enough to fit my skis(the...
Can say for the Ram, but I know on my old Tacoma, every aftermarket tow hitch I looked at was rated for 1000#'s less then the factory tacoma hitch. Make sure you are comparing equal parts.
Stock is great. By far the loudest stock exaustnive ever had with a nice throaty rumble, it's noticeable when I get on it, but doesn't annoy me on the highway.
Sounds like a crappy paving job, not the stands fault. If you had 6 tons, the same weight would have been on the stands and messed up your parking spot. Put a small piece of plywood under the stands in the future. Will spread the weight a bit better to avoid marks.
I have a Bighorn with cloth non heated seats. I am interested I. Adding some Clazzio leather seat covers and heaters to my truck, just like I did on my previous truck. But I am struggling finding a place to put the switches that looks proper, and has room behind the panel for the switch to sit...
Yea I think he got it for like 10k less then me( both were used bought within a month or so), but it's more then just engines. His is pretty stripped down.
I have a 19' new body with a 5.7, a guy at work has a 19' classic with the v6. He said he got it to save money on mileage. After owning it about a month we compared mpg's, and my hemi gets the same as his, and has way more power when needed.
