there really is no "light that comes on" when cylinder deactivation deploys itself. If you're talking about the dumb "ECO" light that comes on........Cylinder deactivation is not dependent of being in ECO mode, nor the opposite.
I'm suspecting this has nothing to do with Etorque. It might be the cylinder deactivation kicking in (meaning when it kicks in is the "sputtering" begins.
When you accelerate, does the "sputtering" stop?
you can turn cylinder deactivation off by pushing the +/- buttons on the steering wheel...
That's a lot of money for a dealer to just pull out of a hat. There aren't any manufacturer rebates currently (especially on a 23 Limited).
There's definitely not $11,000 of markup in that truck, and I surely can't see any dealer willing to lose money on a deal like that . . . . . .
If this...
Calling their rebate/incentive line for rebate specific information is useless and a waste of time. Even giving them then VIN and your zip code, they're clueless. Their final response is "Call your local dealer".
TODAY Friday 3/17 appears to be the last day for the popup. Tried to generate one for a friend, and no go. Tried on 3 computers. Guess they generated the max # of certificates.
Anyone else get it to come up let me know (for the $1000).
Well, they inflated the selling price by $3,000 with "dealer addendums" (which cost them about $300).......So, the discount wasn't as much as it actually seemed.
The disclaimer there is "UP TO"...... That could mean 11,000 off on a Big Horn (very possible), but only $1,000 off, for example, on a Laramie.
Doesn't mean both trim levels are $11,000 off . . (I guarantee they're not).
This popup acted a bit differently this time. Perhaps they are using different software to target potential buyers.
I just went to the site and it popped up again.
If you want one and have issues, PM me your info, and I'll generate you one. The offer STILL appears after I closed it out. Maybe this is a bug in the popup software? Or maybe they are desperate for sales! LOL
But I generated three.
Offer seems to go thru 4/11/23
The Bonus $1000 Ram Certificate appears again with little or no effort. Even after I submitted one, it just kept popping up using CHROME. It think I could have generated them for as many as I wanted. It stays at the bottom of the screen in a box. If you say to "close it", it will tell you...
I don't think you could put a Titan rear window in a Tundra! <wink> :-> And I think you mean RAM not Dodge....its been a number of years since Dodge made a truck.
I usually discredit sites like msn/cnbc because they just throw numbers together in a document with no real sources to back them up (and probably for click revenue). and I sure don't trust jdpower.
