Did I make the right choice????

I’ve had nothing but F-150’s since I got out of school in ‘76. Six of them. And everyone one was a damn good pickup. It was time to get a new F150 this year. I had been reading comparo reviews in the mags and kept seeing Ram as #1 in every dang one. I had to go to my local dealer and check...

Hockeydad -- I went ahead and changed out the 3 dash speakers on my Alpine system in my 2020 Laramie with Infinity Reference 3032cfx's yesterday. I was wrong and you were right !! Kudos to you Hockeydad. And thanks !

My Rams through the years, Wow have prices changed.

It's not so much that the price goes up. What is really happening is that the value of the dollar goes down. This is an interesting tool to play with -- https://westegg.com/inflation/

Rear Underseat Storage - Pics PLEASE!

It comes out almost to the edge of the seat. Looks about right to me. I didn't have the factory option under seat organizer because I knew I was going to order this one. Does not interfere with RamBins

Rear Underseat Storage - Pics PLEASE!

I got my WeatherTech under seat storage bin today. I’ll be putting it in my truck tomorrow and I’ll post some pics. Just looking at the thing laying on the floor it looks good. Better than I thought it would from the pics WeatherTech had in their website. Deeper pockets.

    Alpine system front door speakers

I'm also very happy with the Alpine system in my 2020 Crew Cab 1500. I got quite a bit of improvement on mine (to my ears) by moving the fader directly to the back 3 clicks and tinkering with the equalizer some. I would say a solid 50% improvement. Enough to dissolve any thoughts of...

    5.7 Hemi - 87 or 89 Octane

Modern vehicles have octane sensors. Burning lower octane gas causes the computer to retard the timing a bit. Hence a bit lower performance and a bit less MPG.

Full Synthetic Oil - Why Not Use 0W-20?

From a Ford fleet newsletter—. sourced from BobIsTheOilGuy Why 5W20 Oil? Some customers are reluctant to follow Ford's recommendation to use 5W-20 oil in their engines based on the incorrect assumption that Ford and other Auto Manufacturers only recommend 5W-20 oil in order to increase fuel...

    5.7 e-torque or regular hemi?

I think CAFE is the right context for this development. I agree with what you are saying here. There was not enough benefit in most buyers minds to justify spending over $1K for ETorque. An average mileage driver would have to rack up 7 years of driving to BREAK EVEN on it. So they lower...

    5.7 e-torque or regular hemi?

Anyone else notice that when using the "Build" app on the Ram website that for 2020 the Hemi E-torque option has gone down to $200 over the standard Hemi as compared to the 2019 build price ? Which was like $1500 more over a standard Hemi.

Line-X or just a bed mat?

My “bed liner” for my last 3 pickups has been a sized piece of 3/4 “ outdoor rated plywood treated with 3 coats of water seal. Drains well. Easy to take in and out for cleaning. Protects bed very well. Good traction on items placed in bed. Will last at least 8 years (longest I had one of...

    5.7 e-torque or regular hemi?

This was exactly my same experience test driving an ETorque Hemi. Kind of like some invisible hands had a choke hold on the drive shaft at times. Didn’t like it at all.
