    2022 Toyota Tundra

Yea, I've noticed some of the Rams are as low as 1050. Checking off some of those options is risky. 4 adults + my daily carry (tools, straps, chain, boots, etc) would put me at the max. Or just 1 adult plus the tongue weight of a trailer.

    2022 Toyota Tundra

Ah, yup, I definitely read that wrong. I saw kg really quick. I'll go back and say I suspect this is the TRD pro. The off-road version is going to have **** for payload. I'd like to see if the Rear GAWR changes on the other models. According to Toyota: "Look forward to a maximum payload...

    2022 Toyota Tundra

Um, that's actually pretty impressive. 1270kg = 2800lbs. 2800lbs of payload??? Am I misinterpreting that? What other 1/2-ton truck has that kind of payload? I'm not 100% sure on the Ram's air suspension. Does the Ram's air suspension system replace the springs or does it just help level the...

    2022 Toyota Tundra

It really depends on which trim level that sticker applies to. The TRD Pro will have softer springs an less payload Also, some versions have air suspension. The Hybrid version might have some weird stuff going on, as well. Even though the GVWR is a nice 7330lb, the hybrid drivetrain...

    2022 Toyota Tundra

I highly doubt. Top reason is here: https://www.motorreviewer.com/engine.php?engine_id=192 "Intercoolers and turbochargers use a separate cooling system with an additional radiator and electric pump." So basically, the turbos have the ability to continue cooling after the engine has been shut...

    2022 Toyota Tundra

The Supra engine is an inline 6 designed by BMW. Personally, they should've used the V6 TT, since it's supposedly really good, but they had to go out and make it an I-6 or it just wouldn't hold tradition. The Tundra's new engine is derived from the V35A engine series (<--link), It's been out...

    2022 Toyota Tundra

Since I'm a member on here, this would be the place to discuss. I'm still driving my Frontier, but I've outgrown it, particularly with a family. While the Ram is on the Short list, I wanted to see what the Tundra was going to offer before I made my choice. I really didn't expect that they were...

    Current Frontier Owner. Considering Ram

Been doing my research. I mean, so far, the Ram seems like a perfectly suitable upgrade for the Frontier. I'm not sure when I'll be pulling the trigger, but I'm going on a road trip this summer, and it may be a good excuse to rent a 5th gen for a week. MPG really isn't my sole motivation for...

    Current Frontier Owner. Considering Ram

I haven't really done many butt reviews, yet, but my father in law has a Silverado, and again, I got a 1500 classic Hemi for a month. The Silverado is complete 'meh.' The Ranger looks really good on paper, I've never been a Ford fan, but everything I've seen, it really looks nice for the size...

    Current Frontier Owner. Considering Ram

Afternoon. I just joined the forum to read up on the 5th Gen Ram. Right now, the Ram is a top contender for me to upgrade, but I'm still considering all my options. I've owned MANY Nissan/Infiniti vehicles, I currently have a 2015 Frontier, which I bought new. With it, I bought a flatbed...
