Let me start by saying I am truly sorry for once again bringing this up. After I plug this harness in to the gray connector under dash the single wire is my pass thru #6? And than that loose wire can be hooked up directly to a device with in side the cab ? What do you all do with the extra...
These are the pig tail wires coming off the relay box. I have everything installed and connected. They go hot when I push the aux buttons. I just want to know what kind of connectors these are. Their website shows spade connectors but these are not. I thought they were bullet connectors but they don't fit. I can cut them off and install new connectors but I thought I'd try these, just can't find anything that fits.
I also have a 4 Wheel Electronics Aux box, albeit I did purchase used from a forum member. Mine had just standard blue crimp connectors on the ends of the aux leads (not all were used previously). Hard to tell from the picture, but those look crimp connectors with white heat shrink that has been heated on just the crimped side?
I ended up cutting mine and soldering Deutsch connectors with grounds so I can easily add/swap out accessories in the future.
those are just some generic china spec connectors for the box.
relabel them on the wires (so you don't have to find out which one is which on the switch) and use your own connectors. You can use weatherpack or Deutsch connector if you want.
i always cut them off, extend them with correct gauged wires, label them for whatever else I wire them for the customers, and put them back in. Extending them makes adding stuff in the future (or when servicing is needed, especially for these cheap china ones) much easier. Extend them by removing the box and do it outside of the engine bay for ease of access and operation.
