Had the new Tonneau cover put on today. Went with Truxedo LoPro.. Have this on my F 350.. Love the look and flexibility... Also works perfect woth Ramboxes.. I did purchase and thick Truxedo weather stripping to ensure no water leaks by the tailgate. Would highly recommend..Perfect fit after a few minor adjustments..A little 303 and she looks awesome !!
Monday is the full clear Bra :)
High mileage now..Almost 85 total miles
LOVE THIS TRUCK..

Got my Readylift 1.5” leveling kit, Nitto Recon Grapplers, 305/45/22, and Aero exhaust tips installed today. I love the look.

Looks awesome! I’d recognize that plaza parking lot anywhere, lived in Arnold for a very long time & used to eat at that La Pachanga weekly. Brother lives in Barnhart. I’m still not too far away from ya in Pacific. You also can’t miss me in the Yakima rack & Air Design “spoiler” (I use it to protect the tailgate paint when using gloves, ladder). I’ll be on the lookout to see yours in motion!

Very nice! I love just down in Imperial off Seckman, my father in law lives about 2 minutes from that Home Depot and that’s been my 3rd home here recently while finishing my basement. Haha

What size handgun can you fit in the vault? I am afraid a standard Glock would not fit.

I am almost totally certain that it would. The rear section is deep, you could likely fit three compact handguns in there. I just tried my large frame S&W revolver which is the biggest handgun that I own and it fits with no issues. Honestly, you could probably fit two full-size Glocks in there.

I installed these seat covers today:

Front seats fit pretty good but the back seat covers are not as snug as you would think they should be. They will work for my needs. I ordered the solid black ones but got the ones with red stitching. No really a show stopper or big deal for me. Not worth the hassle of returning and I am sure a black sharpie will cure that red stitching problem.

Those look pretty good! How much does it affect the ventilation? I’m not even going to ask about heating during the summertime. 😆 I’m a commercial flat roofing inspector for a manufacturer so I like having that ventilation on these hot days but also get dirty sometimes & would like some long term protection.

How do you like the level kit plus the grapplers with the air suspension?? I’m lookin to downsize my wheels to 20” Vossen’s but put some meatier tire on there. When I finally decided on Continental’s they didn’t make the size I really wanted in width so I’m back to either Michelin’s or another light AT like the ridge grapplers. The only long term review I found on them said that they got a little too noisy at the end of their life & I drive about 60k per year for work & OK roads are sh*t. So I’m being a little too picky & will have to decide on something.

I imagine it renders the ventilation useless since they are solid seat covers.

I imagine the same, but on the highest setting could possibly cool the overall cover since it’s somewhat thin to make a difference. I’m in the truck for hours on end but with ceramic tint 100% around & a white Covercraft windshield visor for when I get out for a bit of time, so if it takes a LITTLE time for the covers to cool I’d still consider it. Otherwise NBD.

Looks good! Have you had a chance to drive with those tires through any heavy rain by chance yet? I would like to have the same tire as you over the HT but I do around 60K per year and drive through a good amount of rain on the highway. Thanks in advance!
You might have a look at the Michelin Defender M/S. I won’t buy anything else for my trucks. Virtually zero hydroplaning in heavy highway rain. Great mileage warranty. Like riding on a cloud. B32FAD09-2E1F-42A2-83BA-AE6943A47F9F.jpeg

No ventilation with these covers.

So far I like it. I need to mess with my tire pressures, it’s at about 40-42 now. It feels more planted and I think a tad more firm, but it still rides nice. I know more road imperfections come through with them having more contact patch vs the stock 285’s.

The recons have a 55?k mile warranty and so far they’re pretty dang quiet. With the windows down and little to no music on I hear them ever so slightly.

I had those on my 21 Laramie & did really like them. I was hoping to switch to the Continental Terrain Contact AT or HT but they don’t have the 305 width that the Defenders have. So I basically have to decide if I don’t care how they look & go back with the Defenders or sacrifice the extra width & try the Continentals. This is what I came out with so far as of last night:

Installed rear wheel liners from RealTruck.com…you’d think a $50k+ truck would have these standard….took about 45 mins for install (2nd one went in easier after I figured out the first)

Bedliner coming in two weeks
