There is no way Stellantis is going to authorize the use of an aftermarket autopilot. The liability for them would be yuuge.

What do they need to authorize?

They're not going to "authorize" me to use aftermarket wheels, either, but I'm doing it. They're not going to "authorize" me to use an aftermarket oil filter, either....

How was the install? Looks great.

The whole process took about 30 minutes, super simple just a lot of plastic retaining clips to remove and reuse.

Good to know. Notice any improvement in get up? Or sound?

I did notice a slight increase in the throttle response, as for the sound I didn’t notice anything as I am still deciding which exhaust to get.

You can't be serious comparing the dealership programming the BCM to work with Comma.ai to installing a set of aftermarket wheels.

Long story short, I need my back window replaced due to it leaking.

My 3yr36k warranty is over but the issue was discovered prior to warranty expiring. Dealer is agreeing to fix it but they are giving me the runaround now. They can't seem to get back to me on setting up a date to take the truck in.

Other issue is they don't want to re-tint my back window. I kinda dropped the issue on that but I'm wondering if I should continue to push for it.

I'll admit, I did miss the first opportunity to take it in because I was going out of town and I needed the truck.

Anyways, question is... does Ram Cares really make a difference if they are aware of the issue?
I would push it. Luckily I had some good rapport with my local dealer already. I hope this link works.

She finally made it home... Now two American beauty's together !! Far exceeds my expectations. Ride quality is amazing, fit and finish is phenomenal..Well worth the wait. LOVE the two tone color, Ramboxes, and the 22s really fill out the truck.

A special thanks to everyone on this forum..The knowledge here is top notch.I was well prepared when I went to pick her up. Especially with inspection, warranty price, ( my dealer matched Granger after some discussion ) and accessories. Tonneau cover goes on this Friday and clear bra shortly thereafter..

This is the article I came across before. It sounds like it might be 2024 moving forward, but would obviously be sweet if they could incorporate it into the UC5 for an up charge while maintaining warranty.

You can’t be serious about the dealer needing to do ANYTHING to your truck to allow a Comma to work.

Bpebler said it would be nice if the dealer could flash the BCM to allow Comma.ai to work with his truck. I said, that's not going to happen. I'm not sure why there's any confusion about that.
