I tinkered around and got familiar with AlfaOBD. Disabled fog light drop out and signature lighting and set the amber turn signals as the DRL location. Very impressed with the software configuration capabilities.

Parking lights on (headlamp switch in first position):

Running lights only (headlamp switch in off position):

EDIT:

These were the settings I used to obtain that look:

CBC Features:
DRL Configuration: Optional DRL
DRL Lamp Location: Turn Signal DRL
DRL Dropout Enabled: No

CBC Extern.Light Calibr.:
Signature Light Present: No

1) Decided to paint my start button trim to match the rest of my interior (wanted to paint the other silver trim gloss black but I didn’t feel like dealing with all those plastic welds.)
2) Painted my hellwig swaybar chrome (I’d recommend just powder coating it. Chrome paint sucks)
3) Finally got rid of that useless spare underneath 😂

Ooo I like that start button trim, does it just pop off? I’d like to do this

That whole little panel pops out with clips and you kinda pull out and down. Then just squeeze the little tabs on the whole button’s assembly and push it out towards you. Then squeeze the tabs that hold the silver trim ring on and it pops right off! I’d say total time it took to take it apart, sand prime and paint it, and put it back together took 20 minutes using a heat gun to dry each coat!

Spare wasn't useless until you made it useless by putting bigger tires on the truck, and not changing the size of your spare tire

We have nearly identical trucks and I'm getting 17.5 in the summer. That's with 33's. Your signature doesn't show if you have bigger tires.
The Night Edition includes the 22" wheels, and I have kept them.

Speaking of 22" wheels, they're quite vulnerable being so close to the pavement. I hit this road damage on Sunday and lost the air in my tire. It won't inflate above 20psi. Very ugly.

It is all about how you drive. I got into the habit of filling up every time I go into town but here is yesterdays small trip to pick up my GF. It was about 5% city driving. Highway had some light traffic but I was going around 65-75mph. It’s not flat land not nothing like going through mountains. Just small inclines.
Very nice. I have found that 63mph provides the best compromise between fuel economy and getting there in a reasonable time. If I was going on a trip over an hour's time, I couldn't bear driving that slowly. I prefer 75-79 if I'm going out of state.

But at 63mph on flat interstate I can get 19-21 mpg.

Now be sure to calculate your fuel economy manually -- miles per tank divided by gallons added at the pump. You'll find that the truck's fancy meter is about 10% optimistic. I think it's unforgiveable. Hard to believe in the 21st century that the computer can't be more accurate. Remember when they first landed on the moon, and they knew their fuel load down to the second and that was over 50 years ago.

Lol, no kidding. Plus the main volume knob is only about a foot away from your right hand, so it seemed redundant to have the volume button on the right side too.

Honestly, I still have a habit of leaving my right hand on the arm rest when I'm cruising now that I am not driving a stick shift.
I kept my 2001 Dodge Dakota, partly because it's a 5-spd and I really don't want to give up shifting. It's part of the fun of the driving experience.

But the moon landing is fake so...

Yeah mine is about 15% off. I always do the calculations manually. I agree with you on going out of state, i'm usually going 75-80. I had to pick up my daughter from Midland this weekend, 600 mile round trip and I averaged out 17.1mpg hand calculated. This thing drives like a beast so at that speed and the pleasure of driving this truck I don't really care about MPG's.

This is what the fuelly app is great for, my truck is always 1mpg higher by the computer on average, except when towing oddly, it’s within +/- .2mpg consistently when I tow, but empty it usually shows 18-19 and I actually get 17’s.

I got into an argument one time with a buddy claiming they’re super accurate on his jag, he tried it my way and the computer was a whole 2mpg off 🤣

Got my Diode Dynamics 30” light bar installed using @Shifts And Grins Fab hidden brackets, I’m excited to see it at night, I’ll post a couple pictures. One thing I’ll mention is the brackets for the front bumper on my big horn are quite different than the ones on the rebel so I ended up drilling two holes but overall not to bad. 4B445CA2-021C-4224-B197-4DFACFF07DC4.jpeg
Next thing to do is to give my baby a wash
