Also posted in the Bilstein 5100 thread. 5100's all around. #5 in the front. 1 inch motofab spacer in the rear. 275/65R20 AT tires on the stock 20 in chrome wheels. Gained 2.7 inches in the front and 2 inches in the back measured ground to wheel well. Still have the reduced but slight rake that I wanted.

How do you like the ride with the 1 inch rear spacer?? Thinking of doing the same

I'm hoping yinz can help me and provide some guidance. I've read all 73 pages of this thread but am still a little stumped on what to do.

I have a 19 4x4 Big Horn North Edition. The OEM 1" lift that comes on the North Edition is what has me stumped.
I'd really like to give this a aggressive and rugged look. Ideally with 18" wheels and the largest set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers I can fit on it. I definitely want more sidewall than wheel. My goal is to do this while maintaining the ride quality as best I can. I drive A LOT miles every year.

Initially I wanted to use the Rough Country level/strut kit but then realized that because of the OEM 1" lift that isn't an option.

Can anyone recommend a solution to lift this enough to allow for 35" Grapplers? Is the RC 3.5 lift my best option?

Love the outlaw steps. I was just eyeing the outlaw series rockrails...but I want it as close as I can to the truck (with little to no gaps in between) with just enough to stick out for me to use as a step. Can you send me a closeup of what it looks like closer to the doors, and one with the door open.

Short folk problems for me (after my 2" lift, and my new toyos that are coming in).

Owner of a 2020 Ram Laramie, 16 Dodge Charger scat pack and my wife 21 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara

Bilstein 5100s. You will reuse your ORP spring. You can set it to give you just over 2” of lift(3” if you include the lift from the ORP). Should give plenty of clearance depending on what wheels and offset you go with. You could always add a spacer to the rear if you wanted some rake back.

Here’s an option if you’re willing to spend a little more for ride quality. Definitely worth it if you’re in the truck a lot. Details in signature. Some trimming was required but I’m all good now. The 5100’s mentioned above are a (much) cheaper yet quality choice. That will work for you. I will see if I can get some shots today. The nice part about the outlaw steps is that they are adjustable. I have them set way in because I didn't want them sticking out too far.

Thanks! I personally don’t have the 5100’s installed. I went all in with the Fox setup. I originally had the 1” ORG springs all around. The Fox coil overs removed the original front springs and added another 1” giving me a total of 2” over stock if that makes sense. I kept the rear ORG springs and just added Fox rear shocks which gave it no additional lift. So basically as it stands I’m 2” over stock in the front and 1” over stock in the rear, giving me 0.75” of rake which I’m happy with. I didn’t want it perfectly level.

Hey everyone. Looking for some advise from those of you who’ve been running your current wheel/tire/level/lift setups for a while now. I just bought my very first truck (2020 1500 crew sport) last august and it’s been awesome ever since.
I kept the stock 22s for my winter set up but for summer im looking at 33x12.5 toyos. I’m trying to decide which rims to go for. I’m deciding between the following:
1. Vision spyder 22*12 -57et
2. Vision spyder 22*10 -51et
3. Fuel Vapors 22*12 -44et
3. Fuel Vapors 22*10 -19et
Any feedbacks re suspension and steering wear and did you notice any accelerated wear on your wheel bearings and tires running these negative offsets?
I already bought a 2” levelling kit with UCA’s from readylift pending install. Thanks I’m advance!

Just saw this, Doc. I don't think the spacer changes the ride since I left the stock rear springs. When I did the spacer, I was doing Bilstein 5100's all around. And I went with a stiffer but higher sidewall 275/65 20 inch tire when I did all of the changes. I think it is really the Bilsteins that firm the ride up. Just the way I like it. A little less wallow in the corners and over bumps. I love it. I set the front bilsteins on #5 (1.7 inch lift), and raised the rear with the one inch spacer. So I reduced the front to back rake by about 3/4 of an inch. Happy with how it turned out. Lifted and Leveled.jpg

Thanks, I too have the same setup with the bilstein up front and same tire size. I think I need just a bit more lift in the back so might do the same as you.

Cool. And if you want to retain more of the factory rake, you can use a 1 1/2 inch spacer in the back instead of the 1 inch..
