How close are they to your upper control arm? I felt behind my rim and bought 285/65-20’s and it doesn’t seem like much room back there for the bigger tire. I’m doing a 2” MotoFab level as well. No ORG

285/65R20 KO2s and MotoFab 2 inch with stock ucas and wheels NON ORG... There is about 3/4 inch of clearance between the tire and the upper ball joint/control arm on my truck.

Went through this battle... here you go.

285/65R20 will fit stock air suspension but tight. I downgraded to 275/65R20 and they run nice. I do have the off road group but my riding partners all run 275/65R20 on air ride 19 1500.

So I hated the moto metal logo on the center cap. So I made my own center cap.
Attached is before, after and on the rim.
Let me know what you guys think.

What was your process on these caps?

I made those on a laser. I removed the existing logo with screw driver. It was double sided tape holding it. I cut and printed out a new logo with a 35 watt laser printer. Added double sided tape and put back i place.

Just had the Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/60/r20s installed. Liking them so far. A slight rub against a piece of plastic wheel liner in the front, but only in reverse and when doing a full lock turn. Not a big deal. A few pics.
This is exactly where Im at - 2020 billet silver limited w air & no ORP & stock 20's. Big Thanks BeauxXL1200 for posting these pics. Very helpful. Not sure if I want to keep the stock limited 20"s as I really like the LongHorn 20"s - or I may go something aftermarket. Cant really say I like much of whats out there that fits. Will see what I can find for Long Horn Rims

You’re welcome my friend. I like the set up. And I think the Longhorn wheels are pretty nice and I see no reason to swap them. The Ridge Grapplers have turned out to be excellent tires. Gives the truck a more beefy look and of course the A/T tires give a little more off road confidence.

There’s only one size tire for my Ram - 35x12.50R20 ! Don’t waste your money on anything else, these trucks are huge and need a big tire to fill up the fenderwell -see the attachment and you’ll see what I’m talking about

What tire pressure you run on the 275/65R20 RGs?

Just installed 305/45R/22's on my 2019 1500 Longhorn Laramie, zero modifications w/ air ride suspension and I love the look. Planning on 2' leveling kit to level out the rake, there is a lite rub at full lock but hoping to eliminate with level kit. 7739535B-889E-412C-934E-D3E74F5642AB_1_201_a.jpeg 006CB54D-5F62-4C3A-A030-02BBA524CC95_1_201_a.jpeg 4E339D94-750C-44A9-AF9B-14AC478F4E29_1_201_a.jpeg 8B7995A5-9903-4BA1-9475-1779038DA620_1_201_a.jpeg F9FF1878-2BC4-4368-8F7A-0019CC826C83_1_201_a.jpeg

I am about to ask my dealer on a price to swap out the stock 20" tires on my Limited for something a little bit wider and E rated. I would like a tire that is a little bit wider, but not sticking way out of the fenders. They would have to go on the existing stock setup with NO lift (air suspension LTD), and I want to make sure they will not rub. Does anyone have 285/60/20 or 285/65/20's on non-lifted 2019 1500's and how do they look and fit? I am leaning toward BFG KO2's, but not married to them. I hear Nittos will rub. Any info today would be awesome. Pics of your tires if you do this would be killer!! Much appreciated (PS- I did search, but most are for lifts)

I've got a 2020 1500 Limited on stock rims, with Nitto Ridge Grapplers LT 285/65/20" Load E, and have no problem with them rubbing at all, I do have the ORP, so I think thats OR1 if you dont have the ORP. Good luck ! 1594893747981.png

Hi there,
I have a similar truck with the off-road package, but I don’t have the air suspension and I have 3.21 gears. So with this gear set I’m looking at 33” tires like yours, but I don’t want to rub off-road. I’m not planning to get a lift unless I change to 3.92 gears. So with factory ride height, do you think I can fit a 33 and not rub when the suspension is compressed?

I would like the get MFG KM3 275/60R20 and it would be roughly 33” tall 9” wide.
I found online that the Ram off-road package adds an additional 1” leveling kit for the trucks without air ride.
I don’t know if that’s true but my wheel well height from the ground is 37.5 front and 39.5 rear.
I’ll post a picture with my front shocks compressed for reference and on concrete.

thank you,
Blake H.

So much conflicting info here. Just ordered some 285/65r20s for my 21 Laramie with the ORP. Hoping they dont rub terribly. Was looking at the ready lift 2 inch level with UCA but they say not to use that kit because of the ORP. I noticed after reading this thread, some people mentioned that they "tacked" back the fender liner. Anyone have any info on that process?
