The shoe kit (68412364AC) are just rear pads and clips. The Anti-Moan kit is 68446866AA, which doesn't show on your work order and apparently not used. Not sure was the Adapter is, although two were used. It's possible there's are different approach to this issue for the Rebel.

I agree, I don't recall my work sheet showing these parts when the anti-moan kit was installed.

Had mine done about week and half ago, one little moan backing out one morning but that's it, normally I would get a moan backing out all the time.
Glad to hear it sounds that this concern has been resolved, @2019REBEL!

So they changed the parts, left the driveway this morning and a guess what, the brake goran is back... what now ramcares?

I regret to hear your update, @19RamBC. At this point, I suggest reaching out to our Canadian Customer Care team for further support. You can either call 1-800-361-3700 or submit your info at the link: https://forms.chryslercanada.ca/contact/en/contactCCI.php?brand=dodge

Hi everyone,
Recently there was a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) that appears to address concerns similar to the symptoms that you are having with your vehicle. TSB 05-001-19. To ensure this TSB applies, we would like to get you into the dealer to have a qualified technician review the details of the TSB and specifics of your vehicle. Once reviewed, the technician can then perform the repair procedure that best matches the symptoms and diagnosis of your vehicle. Please send us a private message if you would like any assistance with this. We're happy to help!

I'm in the dealer for the issue, had a few times in the past backing up on fresh start up over night, now having it happen when colder or rain and moving forward up to 20 mph for about a min or so and it goes away. Dealer is trying to re-create now as I sit here. I told the service advisor about the star case and the TSB's. I said "I have them right here I will show you". She refused to look at them and said "we won't do anything unless we can recreate it". That's completely unacceptable and really ****ty customer service. Hopefully they can recreate it or I guess I have to call FCA. Unreal!

I just told them I was getting the "moan" backing up when wet/cold. He glanced at the TSB I had and ordered the parts. My parts list didn't include the "Anti Moan Kit" but the parts that were installed eliminated the sound.

Well they couldn't recreate the moan. I said ok well did you look at the star or TSB's. She handed my keys and walked away. I asked her again more sternly and she continued to ignore me and walked out the door back to the shop. What a piece of ****!

Hope she isn't the service manager because I would be talking with him/her about the way you have been treated and if they can't help you then the owner would be my next stop.

I got the truck into the dealer and they did a courtesy rear brake job following the TSB (050011REV B) to try and fix the brake squeal. Replaced a few parts. Adapter disc brake caliper (68412365AC), shoe kit rear disc brake (68412364AC), bolt hex flange head (6512429AA) and adapter disk brake caliper (68412365AC). After roughly 200 miles the squeal came back. I asked what else could be done and I was willing to pay to make the problem go away but the service guy said there's not much to be done. I hate drawing attention to myself and these brakes did just that with every stop. I traded the truck in for a different brand. Best of luck to you guys with the issue I hope Ram steps up to help.

Just for clarification, the brake noise was evident at every stop going forward?

Dusty

The brakes would squeal coming to a stop. Stopping from 40 mph to 5 mph seemed to be the most noisy.

I've had my '19 Laramie in three or four times for the squealing. They finally replaced the whole front brake setup, but it just came back. Two years in and 65,000 miles later, my brakes still squeal like a stuck pig. But I otherwise love the truck enough that I've just learned to deal with it by stopping later and applying more pressure. Mine only squeal when I just barely apply the brakes. If I apply moderate pressure it stops.

This is so weird they can't fix it. I had a fix on my old truck and it went away about 95% (unless I imagined the 5%). My 2020 doesn't have the issue at all.

This coupled with a dash rattle that can't be diagnosed is really wearing on a guy..
