Next phase of modification complete. I got all the bronze wrapped with 55% tinted gloss vinyl to bring the bronze brightness down some, and reduce the clash with the body color. I also had the RAM emblems on the doors removed and had them put black in the recessed limited lettering in the door trim.

Next up,
  1. Powder coat the tow hooks either black like the wheels or color-matched with the tinted bronze. I don't want to leave them vinyl wrapped because they will get torn up if I actually hook anything to them.
  2. Brake calipers painted to match the tinted bronze
  3. Paint the chrome portions of the grille inserts gloss black

I got my truck back yesterday with most of phase 2.0 complete. I still need to take the hood emblem outer rings to the vinyl wrap shop to get them wrapped in the bronze, reassemble and install in the hood. I hope to get that taken care of by the end of the week. All the black paint has a bronze metallic flake in it that you can't really see in these pictures, but once I get a good sunny day and my truck is cleaned up nice I will grab some pics showing that better.

The work completed this pass:
1: Grille painted gloss black with bronze metallic flake
2: Brake calipers painted to match the bronze accent
3: Tow hooks powder coated to match the bronze accent
4: hood emblems painted gloss black with bronze metallic flake (still need wrapped, assembled and installed)

Finally a stretch of a few days without rain in Seattle gave me a reason to wash her. 77932CB0-E556-4C8A-AC39-094C3265B151.jpeg

Had it 2 days, already starting up. Not much, but I bedlined the front letters black. May do the skid plate haven't decided yet. Installed my dash cam. Also installed two LUYED lights under the rear bumper to help with backing up at night. Trying to figure out where I want to put a gun mount for my XD-S.

Added this set of grille-logo decal

Tomorrow my set of OEM fender flares is going to be ready after painting, so I'll probably get to that later this week.

Also tomorrow my set of chrome grille overlay is suppose to arrive, will be installing it as soon as I get it.

What warning or driving lights did you put on the lower grills?

Sometimes I need to stop in the middle of the road to do my job, so I installed some warning lights so people can see me..

I uploaded a video so you can see...
I still have my running boards in the video but I removed them a few days ago, kinda like it without them.

Do you still have the set of lights behind the upper part of your grille like in the video? I enlarged the first pic you posted and couldn't see them. Really well hidden if so. I'd be curious which ones you used and how they installed behind the grille.

Regardless, the truck looks awesome. Love the flag emblem.

Thank you so much!
Lol I forgot about those lights...
I don't have it anymore, it looked weird so i took them off.
I'd highly recommend this set, very durable and completely waterproof even after a year. Very bright, especially at night.
