Hey All,
Thought I would toss this out there in case anyone has been looking. I wrapped my grill this week. Used Avery Denisson Gloss Diamond White and i think it turned out pretty well. It is a touch lighter but once on w the angles of the grill, super hard to tell. It also has a slightly heavier flake, but again, cant tell unless in direct sun and your up close at the right angle.

If you have any questions, let me know.

So on my quest to reduce the amount of chrome on my truck, I removed the side steps. Painstakingly removed all the plastic and took them in to have the chrome removed. (I'm waiting…) AND was told they couldn't remove the chrome....I was like why, you said you could over the phone, The guy looks at me and says, these are not chrome plated, they are stainless....WTF?? They didn't use cheap extruded pot metal then chrome it?? Nope.... stainless.... No Sh!t… So I painted them. Ill have pics tomorrow.....:ROFLMAO:

It definitely came with. I changed the letters out to black and removed the trim piece. The trim was easy to get off. The glue underneath was awful. I did it by hand. My thumbs hurt like hell when I got done....haha. There is an attachment you can get for an electric drill that is supposed to remove it much easier, but I didnt want to test it my first time on a new truck and risk damaging the clear or paint. So I went old school. I personally prefer it without.

Here is one in black...I was thinking that as well cause so concerned about the color match. Looks good in black as well. Totally different look.

So I'm getting myself ready to do this (either white or black) and looking at this black, it appears to be matte/flat in nature rather than gloss?

Yeah, definitely matte in the photo. I think a guy could go either way though. Total preference thing. Regardless, you have a bad *** RAM so you can't lose! :)

I'm really trying to figure out which way to go here. Most people's tell me black over the sorry
Sporty white. I could plastidip the black but that could look worse, idk. But then it's removable to...

My Ivory Tri Coat has yellowed on the plastic parts quite a bit over the 10 months of ownership. The truck spends most of it's life under a shared carport. I'm waiting for Chrysler to fix differential issues. Here is a picture of the color change. The wheel arches, front facia and ram box lids look awful. 20190914_155943.jpg
