Yeah luckily I didn't have that to worry about, have the body color matched bumpers. However the rest of the chrome on the brow/grille and sides, I really like to give it that "black chrome" appearance.
This was the spec that I was originally in the market for, was finding dealers around me in the PNW going for around 20% off msrp with a little negotiation, 25% was a bit harder, then I was able to strike on a limited for a price I couldn't say no to which ended up being about 30% off msrp...
Exactly what I was trying to go for myself... Go for the "black chrome" look ideally. Options I've looked into is painting it, but then my tint guy told me that black chrome is essentially just a tinted clear over the chrome. So I've got to look into that more possibly. Let me know if you try...
I did this swap and regret spending the effort doing so. Really didn't hear a difference, if it was, very very minor.
When you get yours in, give me your thoughts
Been debating on what pieces and ultimately what color to go with doing my grille on my bright white limited. I've liked the black appearance on every other color other than the white, it looks good on the laramie front end, but with the brow and headlights on the limited, it doesn't look good...
Looks great! Did you take them to a shop for painting or did you do that yourself? If so, what did you use, or if you took it to a shop, what did that run?
I just picked up my limited almost 2 weeks ago now for $46,700 down from the $66,045 msrp.
They had the price advertised fairly aggressive for about a week prior. Went straight to the epicenter in Washington.. Kirkland
Welp, landed the deal on a 2020 limited. MSRP was $66,025. Got it down to $46,318 (plus ttl) with my $6,000 in rebates (only extra one was the $1000 conquest). Couldn't say no to that price, $20k.. 29.9% off... I was fairly happy, sales manager probably not as much. Love the truck
Was working a deal tonight and had the manager say a couple things that didn't jive... One that I can't take advantage of the Chrysler Capital rebate AND get the promotional advertised rate (0% for 36mo. Or 3.9% for 60mo.) Looks as if you were able to do that at the dealership you purchased...
You've got a limited without the Hk system? Dang... That must be a unicorn or you special ordered huh. I didn't want to waste the money on that system and just upgrade the alpine where needed, but have yet to see a limited without the Hk
