Chrysler recalls more than 450,000 vehicles with trailer brakes that could fail (merged threads)

Not sure if I can link to a PDF but this shows all the production dates, etc... https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2026/RCLRPT-26V059-8421.pdf

What to do with GDE PCM and tuner?

Why not tell the dealership to reach out to whoever buys the Ram and tell them if they want a tune, the buyer can reach out to you and make a deal.

Towing a 45' Mobile Home Frame

That was actually my suggestion, though I mentioned Enterprise. I notice the wire to the trailer brakes on the frame is just a bare wire. I have idea how to make use of that. Funny thing is we have a guy who hauls around grading equipment and he didn't want to move the frames.

Towing a 45' Mobile Home Frame

Our company has two mobile home frames that are roughly 12' x 45' with three axles. One has a bit of wood framing (deck and subfloor) on it and has a tongue weight of 700#. The other is just the frame and should have a lower tongue weight and less overall weight. We're ballparking the frames at...

I found a new reason to hate the passenger screen....

You should get a job at the plant and build your truck Johnny Cash style. One Piece at a Time. ;)

    Propride/Hensley

I have one, pulling a Lance camper that's 25' in total length. Some will say it's overkill but I am very happy with it.

Since android auto update volume problems

I had a similar problem but switching to Media (Sirius in my case) allows me to change that volume. Then I just go back to Android Auto. By this I mean I actually push the icons on the bottom of the screen.

    Tailgate camera

Any reason they couldn't design a second rear camera flush with the top of the tailgate that would come on when the tailgate is down? So you would have something when backing with the tailgate lowered? I tend to be a turn and look over my shoulder backer but I use the backup camera at times.

Fly and Ship to Avoid Tariff?

This isn't a Ram specific question but I don't belong to any message boards that would be more appropriate. I know companies like Volvo and probably Porsche used to have a program where you'd fly over to the plant to buy your car, drive it around the country (make it a vacation) and then ship...

Ram Launches Build & Price Tool for 2026 Ram 1500

That's odd. Wonder if it's an error? When I looked I was using the 5'7" bed. Motor Trend says its available almost through the whole lineup. https://www.motortrend.com/news/2026-ram-1500-price-msrp-trim-levels

Ram Launches Build & Price Tool for 2026 Ram 1500

It appeared as an option when i looked at Laramie and Big Horn 4x4. Oddly not Rebel though.

How far did you go to pick up your 5th Gen Ram ?

It was originally going to be about 1800 miles round trip to Lake Charles, LA from the NC Foothills. But, it arrived when my wife wanted me to take her to the SC coast. So, we ended up making a big loop that was about 2100 miles. We were trading in or I might have let them ship it, but I...
