I’m glad to have it, but compared to other manufacturers “lane keep assist”, it’s just lacking the refinement that I’ve experienced in most other vehicles.
It’s not very good in my opinion. There are a couple of settings to adjust how it reacts, but to me it’s slow to recognize a correction is needed and then corrects very sharply. I’ve tested it several times to see how it responds and I definitely don’t have confidence that I could rely on it to...
I'm looking at extended warranty plans through Zeigler (chryslerfactoryplans.com) and I saw an option for the "Money Back Guarantee Plan", which by the way I read it, if you never have to use the extended warranty, you can request a full refund after the plan has expired based on time (not...
I have an annoying rattle in my center stack as well. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the toggle switch module; if I press or pull on it it’ll stop for a bit, but it always comes back. Anyone know how if the toggle switch bank comes off?
For others that are following/reading, not all states require insurance companies to compensate for diminished value claims. It will also usually depend on who’s at fault.
You might take a look at the Truxedo Sentry covers. Similar function and styling, and I was very impressed with the quality when I installed mine. It had none of the issues shown here.
Mine does this too. I don’t know how it monitors if your hands are on the wheel, but I usually have one hand resting at top center when it beeps at me.
Ram’s lane keep assist is definitely not the best out there. It feels very reactive and jerky vs proactive and smooth to me. I drove a Volvo...
Agreed on the bass - it’s loud at a very strange frequency to my ears, as you said, almost like the crossover is set way too high. For lack of a better way to describe it, I hear way too much “buzzy” bass and almost no “thumping” bass.
I have a Limited with the Off Road package and installed the bed step last night with no issues. I assume the protection group has the same skid plates as the ORG, so I wouldn’t anticipate any issues.
I picked up a Limited today. Drove to Des Moines from Kansas City to buy from Thomas at Deery RCDJ of Ames. Was very impressed, super nice staff all around, not pushy at all (even the finance guy wasn’t pushing all the profit packages). Would highly recommend. They had my Limited at $18k off...
I’m fairly confident now that my delay is due to the flooding in the Midwest. Norfolk Southern’s rail lines into KC are flooded, so it’s a waiting game at this point unfortunately.
My order is currently showing “KZOB - informal hold - force majeure”. Anyone ever seen this status? I’m hoping it doesn’t mean what I think it does
If you have lane keep assist or adaptive cruise control it might require the dealer to perform the alignment. My Maxima has adaptive cruise control and the body shop wouldn’t touch the alignment because of it.
