It's been too long ... Tinkering bug bit me - Exhaust on 2019 Ram 1500

Howdy! I did leave the resonators on, figured I could remove them later if I decided I wanted it louder. As for now, it's just what I was looking for. ECO was mildly annoying before, more so after the FlowFX muffler swap. I hear it more now, which means I turn it off more often than not lately.

It's been too long ... Tinkering bug bit me - Exhaust on 2019 Ram 1500

Howdy Folks. I was here a lot when I first bought my 5th Gen back in 2019. Coming from the GM world, other than Ram SRT-10 that I owned, this site was both helpful and entertaining. I've made some slight mods to my Lone Star along the way, and finally pulled the trigger on an exhaust change...

Tip for cleaning headliner water stain

Previous post is correct. The M-D gasket that others recommended works like a charm ... Super easy to put on the light housing, one continuous run including going around the corners. It's easy to reinstall the housing, and I too stopped as the screws were tight enough. No need to crank down on...

    Water stains on rear headliner

I fixed mine once the M-D weatherstrip arrived. I also ran a bead of silicon around the brake/cargo light assembly and the four screws ... Plus the shark fin while I was in the vicinity. The biggest surprise was how well the hydrogen peroxide removed the water stain on my gray headliner. Good...

Tip for cleaning headliner water stain

Big thanks again to those who posted useful info on this thread. I've repaired mine now ... And will say this > - The tip about hydrogen peroxide to remove the water stains on the headliner - Amazing! Voila, it's gone. - The M-D product mentioned is spot on. Great quality, easy to use. The work...

    Water stains on rear headliner

Mine leaked for the first time yesterday, all indications say it's the 3rd brake light. I'll replace the gasket with the M-D strip I've used before; recommended by others here as well. Another post I just read said a rag soaked with hydrogen peroxide will take care of the lines / staining on the...

Tip for cleaning headliner water stain

How timely ... And thanks for posting! My 2019 leaked for the first time yesterday while sitting outside in Tropical Storm Beta. It looks to be 3rd brake light, which I can fix myself. But any stain on the headliner would drive me bonkers. My wife says I should take it to the dealer since it's...

Vararam Intake - Anyone try one yet? Says +30hp and +30tq....no flash!

Even on a generous day of marketing claims, any legal rep at a company would know that 'up to 30' means 1 fits the criteria. If you're doing this because you like it, enjoy. If you're doing it because you expect that kind of gain or anything near it, pass. Tell them you will pay 'up to' $900...

    Apple car play problems

Good to know ... Didn't realize you could turn it off. I'll do so on my wife's phone now, stop charging hers like a second class citizen from the 12V outlet on the upper dash. Good luck to OP, as it is a nice feature when it all works.

Lasfit cargos makes the additional lighting a no need

Same as popcenator here ... Grabbed the combo from Amazon, less than $25. Search for this > LASFIT 921 912 LED Cargo Truck White Light and Third Brake Bulbs Red Light Combo. You will have an extra brake bulb as it comes as 4 in the set. Odd that LED lighted trucks didn't already have these, but...

Which affects gas mileage negatively more on a Hemi... Not having eTorque or having a 3.92 Rear?

Like others have said, the single biggest factor in your MPG is how you treat the throttle ... Your own driving style. I insisted on a 3.92, preferably without eTorque. I've seen 20+ when I'm trying to, and can see much less if I'm being more spirited. Get the combo that best serves your needs...

    OEM rear wheel well liners

I installed these on my 2019 Lone Star (Big Horn). You do NOT drill extra holes, but you will use extra screws. You will see why during the install. A bag of 10 screws is about $2 ... I don't recall how many I used, but glad I had 'em. You do reuse a part of the original rear pieces, so don't...

Avoiding the 'mods' bug ... As best I can at least!

Really ... Just one more, I promise!

Avoiding the 'mods' bug ... As best I can at least!

First of all, the info I get from this forum is fantastic ... Thank you all. The only hazard is the "hmmm, I might do that too" feeling when I see something I like. I've not done any major mods to my Ram in the first year of ownership, nor do I really plan to. But my wife called me out when I...

Thx to u guys...i took the red pill

I'm guessing more guys are going to admit to taking a red pill instead of a blue one. But yeah, I sometimes don't even realize I need something until I see a new post. I try to get it out of my mind ... Varying levels of success ;-)
