I cut a slit on the tube, then cut around it. Literally only removes like 1.5" from the tubing. Mine was stuck pretty good.

Another happy customer here.... did the A/C hack last weekend (Houston). Immediate results, minimal cost and effort. For anyone on the fence who lives in areas where summer is not almost over, definitely worth it. My only regret is that I didn't do this at the beginning of the summer after...

I installed Mopar version, which is similar to AMP without a lift. I used jackstands and had to get a step stool when accessing the engine area.

No sir, I did not. I was there getting my bedliner installed and had him look up the lift kit and quote it, and that was it.

FWIW, I got quoted $400 for the install from a local truck shop here in Texas (Houston Area). This does not include alignment or any other tire modifications if applicable.
