A tip for popping out map light lenses

I needed to change my overhead map lights to LED...
I have the kind that you HAVE to pop out the lenses...
Remembered I had this cell phone repair kit... the tools in this thing are a MUST for this and probably other areas.
YES, I have the normal plastic pry tools but for only $10, these tools worked without even a hint of a scratch or nick in anything
It was unbelievably easy with this.

Thanks for the e link I just ordered the tool kit. I hav me two small bugs that found their way in under the lens and died I need to clean them out. Are there any directions on the proper way to pop off the lens ? I don’t want to break it

Good question...

first of all, mine looks like this:

Next, since I had it removed it was laying in my lap....

But I used the spoon tool to first pry in the yellow areas I show... once I got a gap going, i used plastic tool from there
I don't remember but I think it was easiest to open along the inside edge and kind of hinge it open... all i know is the spoon tool was real easy to get everything started with ZERO scratches
