Apocalypse Manufacturing’s Warlord 6×6 Struts Its Stuff On The Ground And In The Air!

Time To Take Flight...

It was just about a year ago when we were first introduced to the Ram 1500 TRX Warlord 6×6 by Apocalypse Manufacturing. Originally a builder of Jeep Gladiator and Wrangler 6×6 models, the Fort Lauderdale, Florida-based company is now become well-known in the Ram Truck community, thanks to the Warlock 6×6.

With a starting price of $250,000 USD, the Warlord 6×6 is far from cheap. But the package looks good, almost as the Ram 1500 TRX was designed to be a 6-wheel-drive off-roader, to begin with. It also is cheaper than the Mammoth 1000 6×6 from Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE).

Apocalypse Manufacturing wants you to know that the Warlord 6×6 isn’t just a showpiece either. Continuously, putting the truck through its paces both on and off the street, it didn’t take long for the YouTube channel, The Triple F Collection, to test out the Warlord’s durability immediately upon delivery.

Now, we have seen a number of huge jumps done by various Ram 1500 TRXs before, but the Warlord adds a lot more length, weight, and another set of axles. Apocalypse designed a hand-crafted middle axle assembly and custom frame using 1/4-inch thick steel to help support the two additional wheels.

With full-time six-wheel drive (6×6), the Hellcat engine has even more rubber to put that awesome horsepower down to the ground. Not just some extra axle thrown on like some builds, the Apocalypse team helped integrate their additional axle with the current TRX suspension by using OEM parts like the TRX’s 2.6-inch Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks. The Warlock 6×6 also retains the TRX’s 8 different drive modes (Normal, Sport, Snow, Custom, Baja, Rock, and Mud/Sand).

To see how just well the Warlord 6×6 handled in the air, you can watch the video above.
