Earlier today, we were at our local dealer (St. Clair Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram in St. Clair, Michigan), getting our first scheduled oil change done on our long-term 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie Sport, when a car hauler of brand-new 2020 Ram 1500 models pulled up.
Just a few days after 5thGenRams.com broke the news that 2020 Ram 1500 production was under way at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) in Sterling Heights, Michigan, the freshly built trucks are already rolling into dealer lots. We will say that these models were all Big Horn models equipped with the halogen lighting and did not have factory spray-in bedliner (those are send to the Mopar Custom Shop across the street from SHAP, and take a few extra days to complete).
While Ram has yet to release the official details of the 2020 Ram 1500 models, besides the introduction of the EcoDiesel V6 models, we see that the starting MSRP on the Big Horn model has dropped by $150 USD. According to our sources, the 2020 Ram 1500 Build & Price configurator should go live around September 1st.
Needless, the arrival of the 2020 Ram 1500 models should mean some really good deals on left over 2019 inventory.
