One of our insiders 5thGenRams has learned that 2019 Ram 1500’s equipped with the 3.6 Pentastar V6 with eTorque will begin production in August 2018. Ram Trucks have said that the V6 Pentastar would be late availability and 5thGenRams is the first to report the production start date. The 3.6 Pentastar V6 is rated at 305hp and 269lb-ft of torque and comes standard with FCA’s new eTorque system that is capable of delivering an up to 90lb-ft of torque boost to the Pentastar V6 at low engine speeds. 

 For initial launch the only available engine option for the 2019 Ram 1500’s is the 5.7 Hemi V8, the eTorque equipped Hemi V8 will also be late availability but should be arriving before the eTorque V6. The 3.0 EcoDiesel V6 will also be a late availability engine option that we will report the production start date for as soon as more information becomes available.
