Since it’s introduction to the Brazilian market in 2012, the Ram brand has sold the largest and strongest pickup truck on the market. The choice has been limited to just one model and one trim for the Brazilian market, which happens to be the Ram 2500 Laramie Crew Cab 4×4 equipped with the legendary 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel.
For the Brazilian market, Ram is testing the public reaction by the debut of the all-new Ram 1500 Limited Crew Cab 4×4 at this year’s São Paulo International Motor Show. While the luxury truck market has kept the Ram 2500 a popular workhorse for farmers and top-tier tradesman, the Ram 1500 will offer a new market to the truck buyer in Brazil as their is currently no half-ton offering from a manufacturer.
Ram also has a custom one off Ram 2500 on display at the Ram display. The Delmonico Red Ram 2500 was customized by Apache Customz Trucks, of São Paulo. The truck is equipped with some of Mopar’s top selling aftermarket goodies for the Ram 2500 as well.
But what attracts the most attention are the 20-inch wheels, wrapped with 37-inch off-road tires. The truck also features a 4-inch suspension lift, custom brushed steel graphics, textured mudflaps and 6-inch exhaust tip for the 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel.
