“Where is the Sport”

Is a question that I have received a lot over the past 24 hours. On the 4th Generation Rams (2009-20018) the Sport package was it’s own trim level with quite a large options spread. The 4th Generation Sport actually had the largest options spread of any other trim level going from a base Sport to a loaded Sport. Before the 4th Generation Rams came out the Sport was an option package as opposed to a trim level that you could option on an SLT or Laramie.

With the 2019 Ram Sport they have gone back to making the Sport an option Package. So far we know it is available on Tradesman, Big Horn and Laramie trims only, but that is subject to change. We do know that the Sport package includes the monochromatic look. It also includes the dark interior theme (black headliner and pillar trims), as well as Sport specific interior accents. Ram has not released information on everything that specific packages include yet but we have reached out to them for comment. We will update this article when we hear back.
